Jennie Wilkerson is a certified birth doula
and proud mother of 2 beautiful children. Becoming a doula is a
dream come true for her. When she was pregnant with her first
child, she was blessed to spend many hours researching childbirth.
Jennie believes that women were created with the remarkable
ability to grow and birth healthy babies. As such she really
loves helping women and babies through the miracle of birth.

Her
first child was delivered at the Birth Center after a calm 24 hour
labor. Her second child was a water birth at the Birth Center after a
“light induction” which started at TMC and lasted only a few hours.
These varied experiences give her great insight into the differing
kinds of care that each individual pregnancy and birth require.
Jennie believes that both mother and husband should be well educated
and supported throughout their entire pregnancy. She is happy to
answer any and all questions that arise. She has spent a lot of time
learning about childbirth and nursing and loves to share what she has
learned.
Jennie has been in Tucson her entire life. She has been married for
10 years and is blessed to be a stay-at-home and home-schooling mom.
