Birthing in Western European Countries such as Germany and Sweden where they practice a more serene experience. It is this experience that Desiree wants to emulate as she practices helping woman birth in American hospitals. That means that she will breathe together with you, help you relax, comfort you, and care for you….depending on your needs. She will work together with your partner. As a child and teenager Desiree was fascinated with pregnant women and loved to care for babies, especially newborns.

After her last baby was born she was saddened that her pregnancies were over. When she found out about Doulas from a friend she knew that being a Doula was her calling in life. She has assisted women in VBAC, Cesarean, birth with an Epidural and natural birth. She has also helped single women with no family or friend present.

However the outcome of your birth turns out, Desiree will support you and your partner every step on your journey to parenthood.
