Lisa Kiser, CD, CCE

My birth doula experience includes supporting a diverse group of women who have had many different types of birthing experiences.  I have assisted with a homebirth, unmedicated and medicated hospital births, inductions/augmentations, VBAC, emergency and unplanned cesarean sections, adoptions, and teenaged mothers.  I am also trained and experienced in supporting families who are using The Hypnobirthing - Mongan Method for childbirth.

I believe that women have the right to a safe birth, and that your desires for the birth of your child are important and all attempts are made to help you achieve your goals.

Recognizing that the ideal birth experience is unique for everyone, my role as a doula is to help you be as informed, supported, comfortable and empowered as possible during your pregnancy, labor and postpartum period.  My goal is to honor every woman’s sacred journey to motherhood, to help you ensure that your birth experience is what you and your partner desire.

I strive to assist my clients in achieving the best outcomes possible with compassion, physical and emotional support, honesty, education, and a love for women and babies. Working together as a team, I assist in the creation of lasting memories for your entire family!

No matter what your ideal birth involves, I would love to discuss it with you, so you can make truly informed decisions about your birth preferences.

I believe that the moment a baby is born, a new life begins. Women become mothers, and men become fathers. Life is never the same.
