Through her ongoing training and experience, she has
specialized her services to to also include support for special
delivery circumstances such as: birth mothers who are placing their
child for adoption, women who may have a history of abuse, and
expectant teen mothers. She also has a great deal of
professional experience and hands on education with malpositioned/posterior/asynclitic
babies (i.e. breech, "sunny side up") and how to attempt to correct
baby's position prior to the onset of labor in order to have the
best chance for a safer and less complicated birth.
Angela and Jill
Reyes are now working together bringing a unique concept to Tucson
Parents, providing In-Home Childbirth Education classes.
Parents are encouraged to work with Jill and Angie, creating their
own content of material. We have found through years of experience
that many families feel they are not totally prepared for their
upcoming births, even though they may have taken CE classes. We
strive to answer any and all questions for Mom, Dad and family
members in our classes- No one finishes the class without out ALL
questions and concerns being addressed!
We have created a
refresher class as well to address the needs of 2nd+ time
parents. Totally “hands-on” approach. We schedule classes for each and
every parent-to be for their timeframe, so no one is left out.
1-3 couples, all
delivering either 1st time, or 2nd+ time in each
class. This way, everyone involved is going through the same
experience. The classes can either be scheduled at the parent’s home
or in Jill’s home.
If you're interested in our unique classes call
Desert Doula for more information.
"I feel
that the childbearing year is life altering experience in a woman's
life. It's my goal to help women with support, education
and caring to achieve the birth experience that they desire".
I welcome the opportunity to answer any question you
may have about birth, doulas or my services in general.
