Laura Brodrick
is a certified birth doula (DONA) a nationally certified massage
therapist and bodyworker (NCTMB), certified Reiki II
practitioner and Hypnobirthing® practitioner.
After
successfully building an Aveda Concept Salon and Spa, she sold
her business to pursue her passions through Awakened Touch; a
private practice specializing in massage, birth doula services,
Hypnobirthing®, Hawaiian Temple Bodywork and a variety of
educational classes for women, babies and couples. |

Laura’s combination of doula, massage, energy work and Hypnobirthing®
education inspires her to use a variety of natural methods that enable
the laboring woman to facilitate a more holistic birth event. Comfort
measures
support
the emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical elements of the
birthing woman. Methods used may
include light
hypnosis, effective positioning, vocalization, acupressure,
reflexology, massage, visualization, hydrotherapy, music,
aromatherapy, birthing ball, movement and breath and are used
according to each birthing woman’s preference.
